Our string quartet Brisbane musicians perform with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and are the leading classical musicians in Brisbane, Queensland. We’ve performed for hundreds of corporate functions, wedding ceremonies and wedding receptions. We’ve also won Australia’s major competitions as well as international competitions as soloists and chamber musicians.
As a string quartet, we perform for all business and private occasions. Our clients mostly seek our string quartet hire band for their wedding ceremonies and receptions, but we also perform for business functions, birthday celebrations, wedding anniversaries, house-warmings, house inspections, funerals and wakes. We’ve even performed as a string quartet for commercial television and feature films.
We have a large collection of string quartet music to select from. If you have a special request, just let us know. Even if we don’t have the music in our extensive library, we’ll source the music and arrange it for string quartet at no additional cost. This is just part of the excellent service that we provide. We perform all genres of music, including baroque, classical, romantic, jazz, tango, folk and pop.
We work closely with each client to ensure they receive a specialised service. We always try our best to accommodate to all our clients needs and requirements. For example, if you’d like our Brisbane string quartet musicians to dress in a certain way or to perform only a specific genre of music, just let us know.

We’re not only providing clients with a world-class Brisbane string quartet, but also excellent customer service. When you call or email us, you’ll be in direct contact with professional musicians who have performed for numerous functions. We’ll always be available to discuss any issues right up to the date of the special function, as we know how important these events are and how much of an integral role our string quartet plays.
Though we mostly perform as a string quartet, we can also perform as a string trio or string duo. This is perfect for those who don’t want to spend too much money. Of course, full string quartets are the best option as they allow for the richest harmonies and the fullest sound.
For weddings, our string quartet hire musicians commonly performs as guests arrive and are seated, during the processional, signing of the register and recessional. We have also accompanied hymns and solo singers during the ceremony. We are also often asked to perform during photographs at the conclusion of the wedding ceremony. Whilst we perform mostly baroque and classical music while guests arrive, we can perform any requests from the bride and groom during the processional, signing and recessional. Please listen to our recordings of the most popular requests from our previous clients.
Many clients have also asked us to perform as a small orchestra. Since we’re in contact with Brisbane’s leading musicians, it’s very easy for us to organise a full orchestra, chamber orchestra, choir or solo vocalists.
Please read testimonials from many of our satisfied clients.
Our prices are also listed on our website.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us and we’ll help you arrange a string quartet and cater to your specific requests.
