STRING MUSICIANS AUSTRALIA Presents
Wild West
A Warehouse Dress-up Party for a Good Cause in Coffs Harbour
Looking for a night out with a bit of heart? This one’s for you.
This Sunday, 29 June 2025, something special is happening in North Boambee Valley. String Musicians Australia is throwing a dress-up themed party – Wild West. It kicks off at 5pm and goes until late, and it’s happening at 10/3 Engineering Drive.
Entry’s just $20, and that includes finger food, games and live entertainment. Drinks are BYO, so bring whatever you fancy. Most importantly, all proceeds go straight to Mission Australia, supporting their work with people experiencing homelessness in the Coffs Harbour region.
This is more than just a night out. It’s a chance to have a good time while helping people doing it tough this winter.
So, what exactly is Wild West?
The name sets the tone; it’s fun, a little bit loose, and not your average fundraiser. Think warehouse space dressed up with lights, casual vibes, and great music.
As the night picks up, DJ COCO Varma takes over. Known for keeping crowds moving with his signature mix of soul, house and everything in between, he’s bringing the energy to carry the party into the night.
Why it matters
Sure, it’s a party, but the reason behind it is serious.
Homelessness is rising in regional Australia, and Coffs Harbour is no exception. The cost of living is up, housing is tight, and more people than ever are finding themselves without a safe place to sleep.
Mission Australia is doing the hard work on the ground—offering housing support, emergency accommodation, mental health help, and more. This event is all about helping them keep going.
When you buy a ticket, you’re not just coming for the food and music. You’re directly helping someone get back on their feet.

What’s included in the $20 ticket?
It’s a pretty great deal.
Finger food and snacks — hot, filling, and vegetarian options
Loads of activities – billiards, darts, fussball, ice hockey, pole dancing and lyra.
DJ set by COCO Varma once the night kicks in
A welcoming, relaxed space where you can eat, drink and connect
The warm, fuzzy feeling that you’ve done something decent
It’s BYO drinks, so bring what you like—wine, beer, kombucha, whatever suits your style. There’ll be a large chest fridge to keep them cold.
Why people are into this kind of event
There’s a growing trend across Australia right now. People want to go out, yes—but they also want their nights to mean something.
And events like Wild West are the sweet spot. They’re social, fun, and they leave you feeling like your night out actually helped someone.
It’s also a lot more accessible than a black-tie gala. No need for fancy outfits. No need to fork out hundreds. You just show up, enjoy the music, bring your own drink, and share some food with good people.
Who should come?
This one’s open to anyone.
Coffs locals keen for something different
Night owls who don’t get many options for going out on a Sunday night in Coffs
People looking to support charity without the usual pressure or formality
Anyone who wants a good feed and a good vibe without spending a fortune
Bring your friends, bring your partner, or come solo and meet new people. The space is friendly, open, and all about community.

A personal note from the organisers
“We know it’s been a tough year for a lot of people. If we can give folks a great night and help someone get into safe housing at the same time, that’s a win. We just want people to come out, have a feed, enjoy the music, and know their ticket made a difference.”
– Jennen @ String Musicians Australia
