Do you setup before the booking time starts?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We arrive 20 minutes prior to each booking to set up so we can start performing on time. If you require us to arrive earlier, please adjust your start booking time accordingly.

Question 2

What are your requirements for a performance?

Accepted Answer

We require one armless chair per musician at the performance location. Adequate light is necessary to read our music. For outdoor performances, protection from rain, wind, and direct sunlight is required, as our instruments are extremely valuable.

Question 3

How much performance space do you require?

Accepted Answer

A string quartet requires 2.5m x 2.5m, a string trio requires 2m x 2m, a string duo requires 1.5m x 1.5m, and a solo violin, cello, or viola requires 1.5m x 1m.

I'm not a musician. How do I know if I'm booking the best musicians?

Accepted Answer

Listen to our string quartet recordings to assess sound quality, intonation, phrasing, and togetherness. We are full-time members of Australia’s leading symphony orchestras and have won major national and international music competitions.

Question 5

Do you perform acoustically or amplified?

Accepted Answer

Acoustic works well for wedding ceremonies, as guests are usually quiet. For functions with over 80 guests or outdoor settings, amplification is recommended. We may supply a wireless amplification system to ensure your guests hear our music clearly without overpowering the ambience.
